With 38 years in business, degrees in accounting and marketing, and technological savvy, President David Riggs brings a wide range of skills to the table. His genuine interpersonal skills are one of the reasons dealings with David is so easy. David has been involved in ASY from its inception, providing timely assistance and direction with technology. David served as Vice President of Accounting Services of York prior to purchasing the company in early 2009. His first initiatives at ASY involved upgrading the firm’s technology systems, tightening internet security, and modernizing in-house confidentiality procedures. David Riggs is a true problem solver. And despite the fact that he’s an accountant—thus a detail-oriented individual—David manages to retain his quirky sense of humor. You’ll notice this as you get the opportunity to work with him. It’s a nice, albeit unexpected, trait to encounter in a numbers guy, but that’s just part of the benefits of working with ASY. Previously David held IT positions with Cox Communications in Pensacola, Florida, founded and was CEO of Webmaster Publishing, and was the senior webmaster, as well as manager of IT functions, for the ehistory.com group. David serves on the board of directors for the Center of Independent Living, and is the treasurer for CIL. As well as an active member of BNI (Business Networking International). He is currently pursuing his Enrolled Agent (EA) tax designation.

Devin is the office manager and also helps Elaine with payroll and David with taxes.. Devin is studying Business and Accounting at Central Penn College. Devin stays busy keeping us (mainly David, he needs it the most) organized and learning from us as she completes her Accounting Degree. In her spare time Devin enjoys dance, music and cooking.

My name is Fran Dashiell, and I am a Bookkeeper and Tax Pro at ASY. I have experience as a Tax Preparer and Tax Office Manager for 8 years. My experience in bookkeeping extends from Automotive parts suppliers to legal office for over 10 years. More recently, coming from the healthcare field as a Community Advocate, I came to ASY in 2024 to return to my first aspiration, Accounting, and to continue my venture preparing income taxes.
I am an Eastern Shore native, mother, and grandmother of three, and my hobbies are music, nature, reading, and traveling. If you are exhausted trying to sort out your business accounting and income taxes……. We’ll count the Beans..... you Enjoy the Coffee.

My name is Elaine Druck and I am the payroll specialist at ASY. I joined the team in late November 2017 and have over 30 years experience in the payroll field. I was semi-retired when David hired me. I found that staying home was not for me. I mean, you can only clean so often! Other than working with numbers, I love to read. I am part of the praise team at Bethany UM Church in York where I play the keyboard.
I am happily married with 6 daughters, 18 grandkids and 12 great grandkids and two fur-babies.

My name is Tara, and I am the receptionist as well as the fore front of the office to make everyone feel a sincere warm welcome as well as keeping busy with the phones and appointments. I chose to come aboard with ASY due to the office having a family feeling that I could see and hear while interviewing with David. Now as an employee I can say that we are office family, and I enjoy working with such wonderful people every day.
I was previously in the healthcare profession for many years and although I did enjoy my time in healthcare it was time for a change. When not in the office I am spending time with my two granddaughters, son and his wife, at home with my fur babies, in my flower garden when the weather is permitting or at my sister Allison’s home with her family and my 2 great-nephews. I am also an avid animal lover with two fur babies of my own Sarah-Elizabeth and Little-Bear which bring so much love and joy into my life every day. I also volunteer with an animal rescue which is definitely a very important part of my life as well.
I always look forward to meeting clients, I am a people person and enjoy getting to know our clients by having enjoyable conversations and coffee. So, I look forward to meeting you, having coffee and a great conversation.

Hope joined ASY as our lead bookkeeper to help keep our clients books up to date. When she doesn't have her head in financial reports or climbing the walls, she spends time with her 2 children . She is also our resident mixologist. Hope holds a BSBA in Accounting after graduating from Penn State.

Born and raised in Grenada, The Spice Isle, I moved to Brooklyn NY where I obtained my BS in Accounting in 2010. Since then I have gained experience in various Accounting duties including Payroll, Bookkeeping and Taxes. I also have experience decorating cakes and installing cable but balancing the books is my passion. When I am not wrangling my 2 daughters or Huskies I am gaming or fiddling with technology.
